Buick Encore: Vehicle Identification / Service Parts Identification
There may be a large barcode on the
certification label on the center pillar that
you can scan for the following information:
- Vehicle Identification Number (VIN)
- Model designation
- Paint information
- Production options
If there is not a large barcode on this label,
then you will find this same information on
a label inside the glove box.
This legal identifier is in the front corner of
the instrument panel, on the driver side of
the vehicle. It can be seen through the
windshield from outside...
Other information:
For vehicles with the Tire Pressure Monitor
System (TPMS), this light comes on briefly
when the engine is started. It provides
information about tire pressures and
the TPMS.
When the Light Is On Steady
This indicates that one or more of the tires
are significantly underinflated...
Some exterior lamps and interior lamps turn
on briefly at night, or in areas with limited
lighting, when is pressed on the
Remote
Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter. When a
door is opened, the interior lamps come on.
They stay on for about 20 seconds...
